Dear Earth-savers,
Neighborhood clubs, camp projects, church school and summer school are important educational opportunities to add environmental curriculum to daily activities.
July is filled with good summer activities and will educate and EMPOWER kids while protecting Earth and having fun.
A nice project kids can do at home or in a classroom is to work on canceling unwanted junk mail and magazines their families are receiving almost everyday. You’ll have to ask kids to bring a sack of junk mail to the classroom, print out the postcards and put them to work saving Earth. Of course kids can do this at home too.
Other fun and educational activities for July include Eco-Epals, Watch the Stars of Nature, Sign the KSE Promise, and Start a KSE Club. Check out many more projects on July’s calendar.
Have a healthy, happy and Earth-saving summer.
