Hello Earth-savers,
July is packed with activities. There is information on fireworks, Cool Earth Campaign Jaguar and Jellyfish info and global warming education. You can learn how to start a Kids for Saving Earth Club and find ways to combine reading and Earth-saving into kid’s lives by Going to the Library and Reading in the Forest.
July in North America is filled with sunshine. Learn about how important Sun Power is to help protect our planet. At the same time make sure you and your students are protected from sun rays. Check out UnSun Fun and Sun Screen 101.
As teachers, you have much to do to prepare for the new school year. I’m counting on you to do your very best to include Earth-saving in your curriculum. Remember, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and we have much planned. Figure out ways to make this the biggest Earth Day ever and prepare for it now. If music instructors are interested, please ask them to include Rock the World concert kit in their curriculum.
Earth thanks you!
