Kids for Saving Earth Minutes
4-13-07Jenna was our Top Banana for this meeting. Kaitlin and Jacob our 4th grade leaders led the meeting. Kaitlin led us in the singing of the KSE Promise. We talked about how the next time we sing this song, it will be for Tessa Hill the KSE President. That will be next Friday on Earth Day at 1pm. Jacob guided the class through the treasury report. We had $3.03 and the Craney Family made a $5 donation to bring the total to $8.03. Thank you Craney Family! We discussed the bake sale at the Spring Carnival. If families are able, bake something at home. Cut it up and put it into baggies, and bring it to the Spring Carnival at Viking Elementary. The Carnival will be from 11am-3pm Saturday, April 14th. You can drop off the baked items any time during the carnival. Our table will be in front of the bird sanctuary on the way to the K-1 Wing. The more we bake, the more we have to sell, and the more money we make for KSE! Thanks for your help! Ruthann finished our meeting with a wonderful report on zebras. She used the non-fiction fact web. |
