Dear Earth-savers,

Kids don't understand a world without plastic. We need to show them how we don't have to live in a plastic world. We can teach them how to resist the use of plastic, especially one time use plastic. Plastic bottles, straws, plates, cups, shopping bags and more are such limited use products. They can all be replaced with Earth-friendly products like reusable bottles and shopping bags.

Our oceans, lakes and rivers have become plastic dumping areas, harming our waterways, destroying our beautiful beaches and the animals that call these waterways home.  In class, read through and discuss the KSE project Plastic Pollution. Then work with your students to take some action steps to cleaning up our waterways. This project also provides information about the Great Garbage Patches in our planet's oceans.

We are so excited to announce The Barron Prize for 2022 has launched! This is such a wonderful opportunity for a student you may know to be both honored and awarded wonderful financial support. Check out the information below then spread the word.
